The name of the galaxy is my interpretation of this wonderful galaxy due to its bright optical bar and two bright spiral arms beginning at the ends of the bar and extending out . The galaxy is relatively close at about 30 million light years away in the constellation Triangulum which is mostly neglected but nevertheless beautiful.

This galaxy is an interesting object for the study of pattern speeds of spiral arms. It is known that the galaxy is relatively young and has its spiral arms larger in size in comparison with older galaxies. The differences led to the suggestion that early- and late-type barred galaxies have different pattern speeds.
